A civil engineer by training, Kay built his career in the heavy civil construction industry, helping lead companies responsible for the roads, infrastructure and projects communities depend on every day.

For Kay, the decisions made today are about the Utah his children and grandchildren will inherit.
Kay and his wife, Suzanne, have built their life and raised their family here in Utah. They are the parents of seven children and grandparents of sixteen.
Family is at the center of why Kay cares so deeply about keeping Utah affordable, protecting its quality of life and preserving the opportunities that have made this state such a special place to live.
His goal is simple: leave Utah stronger for the next generation.
